Our Story

Our mission is to offer an accessible and inclusive dance environment to students of all ages, while offering opportunities for dancers who would like to focus and follow their passion into more serious technical training.

We’re so excited to meet you! We are Miss Heather and Miss Mystaya, a mother and daughter dance duo who moved from the bustling West Coast dance scene to beautiful Prince Edward Island.

When we took ownership of Dance Stars Academy in 2015, we did it with the vision of creating a dance home that is open and welcoming to students of all ages and levels in any style of dance movement.

Dance training comes in many forms and methods all around the world. At DSA our core belief is that dance is for Everybody and Every Body. We pride ourselves in offering world class, industry level training in a safe environment, while keeping the joy in the art form we love.
